an Ozark snowstorm

In late January of 2023, a winter storm dumped an unbelievable amount of snow in the Ozarks of northern Arkansas. Jeff Rose didn’t hesitate to make his way into the beautiful landscape of a winter wonderland to capture these photos.

The owner of Jeff Rose Photography, he ventured out into Buffalo National River near Ponca, Arkansas. These photos proved what many of us in northern Arkansas already knew; no matter the season, the Ozark mountains and the Buffalo River are some of the most picturesque in all of the United States.

Jeff is an internationally known landscape photographer having his photos published in an array of publications in print and online. Time Magazine listed him as one of 51 Instagram Photographers to Follow in the US and he has been featured in National Geographic on multiple occasions.
