Day Six – The Promise of Strength

For whatever we’re going through, God encourages us every step of the way. Look to Isaiah 41:10 for the ultimate encouragement, Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. This verse when broken down into four sections gives us an idea of the progression of God’s care.

• Do not fear, for I am with you. There’s nothing greater than knowing God is with us. There’s no reason to fear, God’s here. He’s got this. Trust in His promise.
• Do not look anxiously about you, for I am your God. God cares for His children. He watches over us in every aspect of life. There’s no reason to feel worry, He’s God! 
• I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. For whatever we’re facing, God has promised to give us strength, He will lift us up, He will encourage us, He will be our God. Just as sure the sun rises, God will surely help.
• Surely I will uphold with My righteous right hand. God’s providential promise is explained in His protection, His perseverance, and His power. No one and nothing can remove us from His hands, even ourselves. There’s nothing more encouraging.
