Day Three – Our Strength is Our Faith

Our tendencies when confronted with difficult decisions is many times to plow right on through relying on our own strength, our own reasoning, or our own decision-making. 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

The life we expect to have is not dependent on our capabilities, but our faith in God’s capability to provide for us. As David told his son Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:20, Be strong and courageous, and act, we too should take the same attitude. Faith isn’t wishing for something from God and doing nothing but wait. Faith is believing God will provide and acting on His promises.
