waterfalls
Waterfalls may be one of the most popular photographed nature landscapes in the world. There is a true art of getting that smooth flow of water as it tumbles over the rocky terrain of the creek or river bed. I’m still learning that trick. It was difficult to choose exactly which photographs to select for this collection. However, there are thousands of photos available online to choose from. At some point in time, there will be another collection available. As for now, enjoy these photographs from different sources from the internet. The first three photos are among many of Toketee Falls in the Umpqua National Forest of central Oregon. It is considered the ultimate waterfall destination of the Pacific North West (PNW).
As stated before, waterfalls can be found throughout the world. Some are photographed more than others while others are seldom seen because of their remote location. I’m somewhat biased of my home state of Arkansas because it contains an extraordinary amount of beautiful waterfalls. A few are highlighted in this collection by very talented professionals. I suggest following these photographers on social media such as Instagram.
One of the great benefits of living in the Natural State of Arkansas, is proximity to various types of waterfalls. Another is following in the footsteps of the great nature photographer of Tim Ernst. Mr. Ernst has photographed more of the state of Arkansas maybe than any other. But, others are definitely trying to catch up to him. I follow several of them on Facebook and Instagram. I recommend these photographers and videographers on Facebook, Tim Ernst and Chasing the Ozarks. There are several Facebook Groups you can request to join to get more of the state’s natural beauty. Here are a few to get you started, The Waterfalls of Arkansas, Arkansas Waterfalls, and Arkansas Best Scenic Places and Drives.
