the wilderness, Learning experience

the wilderness

Our minds think of a wilderness as a difficult place to journey. At times, it can be that way, but it doesn’t have to be. We find in many places in Scripture that a wilderness experience brings more good than it does bad. We should never try to bypass the wilderness just because it may be difficult. If following God’s plan leads through the wilderness, we need to chase after God’s leading without hesitation. Every step we take following God’s road map for our lives will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

The journey through the wilderness is a time of learning to depend on God for all things. Not all journeys through the wilderness will be times of hardship and difficult decisions. Some will have a lasting impact and some will have an eternal outcome.
