A definition of aesthetic at dictionary.com is the philosophical theory or set of principles governing the idea of beauty at a given time and place. In my mind, every picture and memory of firewood elucidates this definition. For years, I have scrolled through countless posts, pages, and pictures on the internet and applications trying to determine the ‘need’ to continue my fascination with firewood. The conclusion for my need of the firewood aesthetic is a connection and sometimes reconnecting to the great outdoors. I highly doubt my connection will ever be assuaged.
