refire

There’s always something about a fire that brings comfort. I have found it matters not what type of fire, be it in a fireplace or at the campsite, a sense of belonging overcomes a person to relax. The scent of the smoke, the warmth of the fire, and the mesmerizing dance of the flames automatically centers a person to just be. There are many ways to enjoy a fire: sitting around a fire with family and friends is an amazing way to connect with each other; at a campsite enjoying cooking over the flames; watching sparks disappear into the black of night after a long day of hiking. The list can go on.

To refire is a way to reenergize beside a fire. Whether you’re enjoying a roaring fire in a fireplace during a winter storm or sitting around a campfire talking deep into the night, to become refired is a much needed balm for the soul.

Find a sense of your own refire with these photos. Despite these great examples of fires, there’s nothing like building your own fire and finding your own refire. And as a cautionary measure, Refire Responsibly!
