A sentinel is a person or thing that watches or stands as if watching according to dictionary.com. The following photos of Yosemite National Park were all taken by Glenn Lee Robinson throughout various seasons of the year. All beautiful, they leave an impression of sentinels as described on the dictionary’s website. The reader can surmise by studying the photos of different sentinels in each photo. The rugged mountains stand as if waiting; the colorful trees portray a glimpse of glory; the waterfalls cascade downward to the river below giving the lifeblood of water to the surrounding valley.
